Financial Crash

In 2008, the financial crisis happened. Sure, there’s a lot of things that took place prior to that but we remember 2008 pretty well. In January 2009, bitcoin was introduced to the world. Why? To bring transparency, trust and freedom to all people without the need of a third party. Bitcoin’s whitepaper states:

A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.

Crypto Beginnings

I didn’t get involved with crypto in 2009, I was intrigued in 2017. I’m not sure what took me so long - life perhaps. I do recall that I had an exchange and I had a bitcoin on it. I also don’t recall the exchange, nor the wallet that I had it on.

Lessons In Cryptocurrency

I’ll leave you with the golden rule - never invest more than you are willing to lose. Until next time…
